WOW! Our kids are TOUGH! MICHAEL MURTAUGH and ERICK GRATHOFF ran 5 miles through fields of snow, hills, marshes and creeks. You EARNED that t-shirt! Wear it with pride.

Boys run at Nike Nationals

The Saints ran at Nike Cross Midwest Regionals in Terra Haute, Indiana in November.

Volunteers, thank you for your amazing efforts in hosting the Sectional, Best and Leavey Invites.
You did a fantastic job! From early in the week shopping for supplies and setting up the course, to the final picking up trash after the crowd had gone home, you were out there working to make our home invites the season's best invites.

Our cross country invites could not happen without the work of the volunteers. THANK YOU again!

STCE Boys take 2nd at 2008 Regional Meet!

Congratulations to the St. Charles East Boys team who advanced to sectionals by taking second place, led by Nick Cramer (12th, 17:12) and Michael Rykoskey (13th, 17:13).

Mustang Run

Both the boys Varsity and Sophomore teams took third place at the Mustang Run Invitational on September 20, 2008. Tim Johnson (Jr) finished the 2.75 mile course in 14:53.6 for sixth place while Jordan Heggen (Jr) was right behind him in seventh place at 14:54.7. Rounding out the top 5 in the close 15-18 positions were Mike Faith (Jr) 15:08.5, Nick Cramer (Sr) 15:09.7 and Jake Osborne (Jr) 15:14.8 23. Jake Zahn (Jr) 0:15:29.7 and Dylan Kapp (Jr) 15:59.0 completed the team.

Mike Rykoskey (So) 15:15.2 won first place in the Sophomore race while Jared Eads (Jr) 15:32.5 and Mark Hayes (Jr) 0:15:47 were 1 and 2 in the Open.

Slipping and sliding at Detweiller

"Runners at the Woodruff Invitational on Saturday at Detweiller Park battled the elements as much as the competition. The eight-race meet started at 9 a.m. with intermittent rain, and the runners' path through the park quickly turned into a trail of mud." (Read Peoria Journal Star story.)
